During our interview at the Gateway hotel I asked Nomfundo what has she learned about the radio industry over the 5 years since she joined “I’ve learned a lot of things, I’ve learned to treasure and appreciate time and to also utilise every moment given because on radio, you are as good as your last show”

Passion and motivation written all over her face throughout our interview, she continued to tell me why she chose to join radio “On Radio You are given a platform to talk to all kinds of people, age groups and generations. Radio to me is a platform that helps me to experience different spheres of life. I have learned a lot from those different spheres of life through my listeners. It does not only give you an opportunity to share your views but also gives you a platform to learn from a diversity of people that in your normal life you would have never met”.

She exclaimed that she wants her fans to know her beyond radio so we went on to chat more her and the things she loves doing;
